August was a great end to our summer. We had some great weather, and lots of fun activities. Cooper learned to ride his bike! It was pretty funny, he had a friend, Angus, over to play. Angus hopped on Cooper's bike and starting biking around. I don't think Cooper liked that much, so he asked Angus for his bike back and just started riding!!!! It was quite a surprise. Also can be an example of how frustrating Cooper can be when trying to teach him things. If he doesn't want to learn, he's not going to. All on his time!
Isabel tried it, but we've got a lot more practicing to do!
This was Emma transitioning into a big girl bed! We started by just taking off one side of the crib.
Shortly there after, we moved her onto the floor in Isabel's room. And now the girls share a room! It gives us space for our visitors to now have their own room.
Cousin Trip
Grammy and Gramps came up in August with Ryan and Jackson in tow from Virginia. They took the big kids to Lake George for a couple of days. This was their Christmas present to the kids (and a gift for us parents as well)! Surprise, surprise, the kids had a BLAST!!!

Visit from The Levines
One of Josh's good friends from college came to visit us with his family. They have 2 sweet adorable girls who got along very well with our kids. It was a really nice family weekend. We were so touched that they came to visit us! We took them up to Texas Falls and they had fun playing in the FREEZING cold river.
The Levines
Smores!
And new bunk beds for the girls!!!
(I think Cooper was a bit jealous)!
And golf! We played a bit of golf last summer. I'm really enjoying getting out there and playing. The next step for me is to start practicing more to improve my form (and especially my putting), but it's so much more fun to just get out there and hit!
