Emma's Baptism and Kate's Big Win

Another great weekend was had at the Quinn household.  On the weekend of April 14th, we got to celebrate Aunt Kate's big win for undefeated Trinity lacrosse beating previously undefeated Middlebury on Saturday, as well as my birthday, then Emma's baptism on Sunday.  It was an action packed weekend!  We were so lucky to have all the Perines and some of the Quinns here to celebrate with us.  Emma was an absolute champ the whole weekend, even when she got the water poured on her head!   The icing on the cake was the beautiful warm weather!!

Running around at the lacrosse field.  Congrats Aunt Kate for a very well played (and coached!) game! The better team definitely won!

Kristi and I must have been giving Kate some game analysis and coaching tips!

A super-duper big cousin Eva!

Our little girl

Emma has now learned to clap which she LOVES to do, and she's about 75% with "SO BIG!"  She's learning and growing in leaps and bounds recently!

A big thanks to Aunt Casey and Aunt Kate for being god-mothers!

Our kids are pretty lucky to have such great grandparents!

This was our attempt at a family photo.  This was the best of the 6 tries!

The great-grandmothers!

Finally!  A yummy brunch before saying good bye to everyone!

Daddy's "littlest" girl!

"Littlest" cousin Estelle!

"Not-so-little" cousin Dana!

The Perine women!

Emma and Great-great-grandmother Simone (turning the big 100 this November).  It really makes you realize how precious and wonderful life is!

A proud mama!

Cooper making his little sister crack up.  This happens quite frequently!

Phew!  This is the "after" picture.  We were all exhausted!

Easter

We had a nice and quiet Easter.  Most of the family was out of town, so we had a quiet morning at home, went to church, and then to Jane and Eugene's for a nice lunch.

So tired, but ready to start Easter!

Uno game which has been a big hit!

New sparkly headband

Getting ready for the egg hunt downstairs.  Emma actually slept in that morning, so she missed a lot of the initial action.

Post-church photo

Emma had quite the cold on Easter.  Can you tell?

Opening the box from Gumma and Gogo who were spending Easter in Jamaica!

So sick.

We had a very nice Easter lunch at Jane and Eugene's.  Jane is always so good at having stuff for the kids to do.  We did an outside egg hunt there too.

Birthday Boys!

We had a great weekend celebrating Josh and Cooper's birthdays!  Cooper's was on Thursday the 29th, so he started it off with bringing cookies to school.  Then the Leggetts came over to celebrate with a pizza party that night.  Then Grammy and Gramps came to visit for the weekend.  We had a great time celebrating Josh and Cooper, but were quite exhausted by the end of the weekend!  Just this past weekend, we had Cooper's party with his friends.  It's been a whirlwind!!!  Here are some pics...

We'll start with some pics of Emma.  She's doing great with the crawling.  She's been so easy and content since she's been able to have a little more freedom.  Still have to watch her pretty close as she likes to taste everything!!!!

THE BIRTHDAY BOY!!!
(Thanks Casey & Marc for the card with the sticker in it, he wore it all day at school!)

Coopie and Gumma!

Cooper giving Gramma Ali some thankyou hugs!  Cooper was very cute opening all of his gifts.  He is very animated and gets excited with all of them.  He especially loved all of the cards.  It was very cute.

Thanks Kristi, Peter and Janet for the Angry Birds blanket!!!

And a very special gift from Gogo and Gumma, Uncle Chandler's cape from when he was little!  Don't worry Uncle Chan, we'll take good care of it!

LEGOS!  (Let's hope these stay out of Emma's mouth!)

Visit from Grammy!!!!

Making cards for Daddy

Cooper was very good at letting Isabel help to open his presents.  (Notice the red ear?  That's a dead give away that Cooper is exhausted!)

More Grammy and Emma time!

Ummmm...have you ever seen anything so cute?  First time we put Emma's hair in elastics.  It was adorable!

That's a lot of pigtails!

Decorating Easter eggs!

Cutie pie

Just a funny picture!

Daddy's turn!

Here's Gramps!  Sorry, his eyes are closed, we'll have to get him in more pictures next time!

Cooper his first sleep over this past Friday with his buddy Camden.  Cam's pretty much grown up here at the house (and he's the youngest of 3, so he know's all about sleepovers) so I knew he wouldn't have any trouble.

We were very nervous about how Isabel was going to feel not sleeping with the boys, and yup, come bed time, she wanted to sleep in Cooper's room.  Fortunately for us, Cooper very graciously replied, "That's okay Isabel!"  All in all, they did really well, it took about 45 minutes of Mommy sitting in the room with them, but by shortly after 9pm all 3 were asleep!

The next morning we had Cooper's friend party.  Being that it was the day before Easter, we had a egg hunt outside and of course, an egg birthday cake!

Cooper and his buddy Drew.

The kids were all very good and it was a fun, and surprisingly easy party!
